Prolonged stillness & finding awesomeness
After the state of stillness/samadhi, our very nature of filling the void from past samskaras and present life society's way of living slowly eradicates its beauty. My advice to seekers is to practice the way which may not be pleasant to the mind / the present way of living, that is not to obey the mind's want to fill the void. Instead, perform your day to day activities with full involvement. This makes me clear the idea of why monasteries have the practice to perform a lot of cleaning and works. This will help the voidness to be prolonged. Karma yoga & bhakti yoga makes sense now, those will allow you to submit yourself either to work / to the divine. Even the tantra / sexual act is beautiful, that is to surrender yourself to your partner until the mind intervenes. In the act of sex, we are filling our desires instead of submitting ourselves to love, that's why we are never get satisfied. After the beautiful state of samadhi, the mind comes into the picture and tries to fill the void state by suggesting / tricking you to read books / perform some practices to prolong the samadhi state, here happens the mistake as we fill the void with knowledge and practices and the beauty of the self slowly disappears. Hence oh! seekers do your regular activities with full dedication even if you are alone doing it with such perfection as if somebody is there with you or always watches you. Once the work is completed you will get a question of what should I do now, if you are into work perform your excellency. If you renounced and in bhakti path spread your love towards the divine. If not both then do some creative work not for anyone's attention though, just do it. We are habituated that if a work is performed, someone has to recognize it, the work performed on the state of silence will have its own beauty, if the divine wants to showcase it to the world, that's his will. Our duty is to do it in an awesome way. For example, a fruit fills with sweetness, if noticed by someone it will be savored, if not it will be dried and falls towards the ground. Here the fruit has no anticipation, it is awesome in its own way, whether it's savored or fallen to the ground. The same awesomeness will apply to you when you indulge in the activity without any expectation & the stillness follows.
